Extract from the Register of Non-Governmental Organizations

Greetings,

May I kindly ask what is the procedure for requesting an extract from the register of non-governmental organizations? Thank you very much for your legal advice.

Answer:

An extract or written information from the register of non-governmental non-profit organizations is issued through the Central Public Administration Portal (the slovensko.sk portal).

The applicant for an extract or written information may be either a natural person or a legal entity. As part of the application, an administrative fee of EUR 5 must be paid for each electronic extract. This administrative fee is paid by bank transfer to an account in accordance with the payment order delivered to the applicant’s electronic mailbox after the electronic application has been submitted. It is not necessary to submit any attachments. The application will be processed without undue delay, but no later than within 30 days from the delivery of the application to the electronic mailbox of the registration authority.

The applicant is provided with an electronic form for submitting a request for an electronic extract from the register of non-governmental non-profit organizations. The applicant shall complete the form at least to the extent of the mandatory information, use the identification number (IČO) to search for the data of the non-governmental non-profit organization for which the extract is requested, sign the application with an electronic signature using an electronic identity card with a signature certificate, and finally submit the application.
